Coffee n Jazz at Cup of Jo 2/26/08!

Long Beach Rhythm will be performing with the fabulous vocalist Denise Anya tomorrow, Tuesday, February 26th, 2008, 7p-9p at Cup of Jo Coffee House in Long Beach, CA.

This is a weekly “open rehearsal”, and we never know whats going to happen from week to week. Show up and hear the wonderful Denise Anya sing a few jazz standards.

bolsa 2/10/08

today i surfed bolsa chica on the 6′6″zippifish quad. i love this board! so fast, even on small waves.
it was knee to waist high, and it got better as the tide dropped. it was sunny and warm, with only a slight breeze. the water is still cold.
there was plenty of time between sets. felt good to simply be out.
the last time i paddled out was Christmas Day. i think thats the longest ive gone with out surfing in years. i hope to paddle out tomorrow.

gifts from milo 2/10/08

milo with his new little friend.

yup.
sometimes we wake up at nights to this wonderful sight.
milo, like many other kats, feels the need to bring his latest catch into the house and flop it around.
its fun to wake up and find milo flopping his friend around on the bed!
and of course, when i try to get mickey from milos mouth, milo runs away.
its always pleasant to chase a kat with a mouse in his mouth around the house at 3:30am.

france gall 2/9/08

i love everything about this woman.
her voice.
the simplicity of her songs.
her honesty and conviction when she sings.
i wish i could find someone who could and would sing with this expression.
its not for everyone, but i find it interesting.

ive learned much about her recently.
interesting life story.
if you’d like to know more about France Gall, google and youtube her name.

its time for me to attract a new point and shoot camera into my life.
these posts are boring with out photos, dont you think?

ive done a little research, and i am now attracting a canon sd800is.
has a wide angle base lense.
good reviews.

my ibook 2/2/08

just found out from mac-fusion, that my ibook hardrive has been replaced and all of my info has been lost…………this is after mac-fusion told me NOT to pay them to back-up my info, as it was only the logic board and there would be no problem recovering the info.
